BAN Gordon For Life

After Robby Gordons actions in the Busch race, I hope Nascar Bans him from all Nascar Series and I'm not sure Harvick deserves the win either, it seems all the crap in Busch comes from Cup Drivers because they have nothing to loose I think Nascar is going to have to look from a Busch racers stand point.

Please Forgive Me

I have to ask Robby to forgive me, I realize that using anger to respond to Robby’s anger makes me equally wrong and just as worthy of suspension.

NASCAR an even worse sanctioning body than the FIA??

I don't think we really know who won that race. The time between the big pile up and Ambrose spinning Gordon should have been more than enough time for throwing a full course caution and whoaing up the field. You know that there would be a full course caution because NASCAR will throw a caution for a piece of used toilet paper on the track. Let alone the debris from a ten car pile up. Yes there is a minimum speed limit under caution which Gordon failed to maintain. NASCAR's job as a sanctioning body is to enforce and interpret rules.
In this instance I think they failed, as usual, to interpret the purpose and effect
of their minimum speed limit rule especially when they failed to communicate that there was a full course caution to the drivers.
I don't think Gordon would have retaliated the way he did if NASCAR had restarted him in second. Ambrose would still have been in the race barring some other incident and probably won. Yeah it was wrong for Gordon to ignore the black flag but this event would have been forgotten by the next week otherwise. The events did make the race more interesting and will boost ticket sales for the next Montreal event and probably have more eyes watching Watkins Glen. Its amazing how bad publicity can be so good let alone the revenue from fines.

I noticed on the replays that Nascar was as at fault as Robby, but they forgot to admit that once again.

And I wish Robby would quit being so dang nice I feel bad enough

Love the Ambrose Ride

I thought Robby giving Ambrose a Cup ride was the best PR Robby could use! I was made as hell at Robby but after he tried (unsucessfully because of rain) to put Ambrose in his car, I was impressed.

BTW, Nascar was wrong on their call!

From my perspective... and I'm not a NASCAR fan really... very much a racing fan though... not too many competitive passionate racecar drivers would have done much differently than RG in the race. Now, not too many of them would have followed up as he did, either.
