IHRA P/M Body Guidelines for 2008 release

The use of Pro Stock style bodies in Pro Modified is in the beginning stages of causing the two classes to become visually similar. To help ensure the unique visual characteristics and heritage of Pro Modified, the use of Pro Stock style bodies will not be permitted in IHRA Pro Modified competition beginning with the 2008 season.

A "Pro Stock style body" will be defined as any body style, either currently or in the future permitted for use in IHRA Pro Stock. Teams interested in building a Pro Modified vehicle with a late model body not currently in use in IHRA Pro Stock should contact the IHRA Competition department for approval prior to construction

I personaly think this is good and thats all that matters, but i have to ask, What do you think?
