New Format: Nay!

Mine has been black with yellow header and white text for a week or so but that one thread with the pipemax data was bluish gray and very faint until you put it in your thread.

It's a lot better.

That would be due to my edit to change the text color - to make it easier to see.

The colors are fine but the adds at the top of each page take an age to load which is very annoying. Otherwise love the forum and keep up the good work.

My eyes are also having problems with the new format. However the suggestion to go to "thread tools" and change to the printable version makes things a whole lot better.

My complete sympathies to the Administrator; I am computer-clueless, and would have no idea whatever about getting a website up and running.

However, the new version runs so slow I just don't have time for the site anymore. Did it have to be changed? Can we go back to the old scheme? Can the ads be given their own forum, if the ads are the problem?

My guess is that you don't need to run the ads past our eyes at every opportunity (assuming that is what is slowing the site), since we pay no attention anyway until we are interested in buying something. People here, especially the racers and ex-racers, fully understand the necessity of sponsorship, of cultivating sponsors and patronizing sponsors. If you put it to the readership that we need to buy from site sponsors whenever possible, you will probably get the result you want. These companies our our friends!

I'm having serious problems with the site. System speed is at an all time low and I am
beginning to get errors when going to the next screen. Here's a copy of the error:
