Will F1 Return To USA?

Do you think it will hurt the sport if it does not return?

I don't think it will hurt F1 but, keep it from expanding into a largely untapped market. If you watched practice this morning you would have heard Bernies comment and the price tag he was asking to hold the race next year. True Indy is a huge race but the ticket sales don't seem to contribute to the vitality of the sport in Bernies mind.

I missed that , if you can fill us in that would be great. Does anyone know, is there any other track in America that F1 might consider or for that matter that would support the event.

I'm sure a lot of Americans will be using this Forum. What do you think about your 'home' Grand Prix being removed from the calender. Rather than considering it affecting the sport, does it personally bother you, and are you going to miss it?

As a UK F1 fan, I'd be well naffed off if Silverstone was dropped. Its been hanging on by its fingernails over the past few years...

I personally would love to see F1 hear and at more than 1 event but I don't know if we have the facilities to handle it any where but Daytona and all though Tony spent a lot to rebuild the speedway to accommodate F1 I don't think I would be willing to fork out twice the price as Bernie is asking.

But I would also like to see them run the entire original Nurburgring and also let them run what ever engine combo they choose.

And I wish the powers that be would stop slowing down race cars in any series, but i probably won't get my way there either.
