Wave of the future

GM Performance Parts LSX Bow Tie block.
The 454 LSX Engine Cranks Out Over 640 hp and 610 lb-ft

In its final form, the LSX offers the potential for a massive 4.25-inch max bore that allows for 482ci from a small-block LSX engine using the max stroke. And, with the forthcoming tall-deck version (9.7-inch deck height), you are looking at 510ci small-blocks.

For the icing on the cake, the LS7 heads are a major upgrade from
previous versions.

Well, I know so little about Fuel Injection I'm affraid to even post a picture of it, I't might cause a ck. engine light to come on.

If you Know Fuel Injection may be you could start a thread on it, I have a lot of questions.

I'm no fuel injection guru, but it's just sad to see such a well developed FI engine like the LSX series with a cast manifold and carburetor on it.
They can make so much power with the stock type manifold and FI that it's not even funny.

I've just recently started messing with learnig FI. I've got a 6.0 liter gas 2001 Chevy 2500HD figure all I can do is start with basics and go from there.

I did not know carbs untill I started working on them.

That carburetor looks more than a little out of place up there. It seems like
using the fuel pressure to atomize the fuel in a injector would have advantages.
Something like this would look look more at home. In addition it would be nice
to have the ability to tune the runners to a specific point in the power range.
