I'm glad you brought that up. I love that IR style of injection, but you hardly ever see anyone run it unless it's on a sprint car, and certainly not on the street. I'd love to build an engine to run IR electronic injection and play with the runner lengths and entry radius.

If I decide to go LSX with my latest project 69 Camaro, I will consider
a individual TB setup for the looks and ability to tune runners. For me
it would be a good learning experience.

Here's a trick set-up for LS1 street cars. Cool looking intake that
fits under a hood.

In its final form, the LSX offers the potential for a massive 4.25-inch max bore that allows for 482ci from a small-block LSX engine using the max stroke. And, with the forthcoming tall-deck version (9.7-inch deck height), you are looking at 510ci small-blocks.

We already tried a similar Carb-Intake -VS- EFI + Composite Intake
with much longer + even length runners.
The "Best" the Carb + cast intake (uneven too short) did was come close to matching
Peak HP of the EFI at just a few RPM points,
the rest of the Toque Curve was terrible compared to EFI.
Stick with the longer+even length and EFI for serious amount of
Torque + HP Curve

Something like this would look look more at home. In addition it would be nice

you need to Flow that entire setup on a FlowBench,
i think you will find that severe turn into the Cyl-Head
will hurt Flow Numbers quite a lot.
You want as straight a shot into the Cylinder Head as possible
..something similar to this pic

HARROP had the same straight shot in mind when they designed this example:

Here's a trick looking cross ram set up from VCP that generates a straight shot
at the port. Would look nice on top of the LSX, facilitate runner tuning and
provide hood clearance for a door slammer. At $3500 it looks like a bargain.
