Single plane vs. Dual plane FI intakes?

Most factory long runner FI intakes are single plane. Ford Mustang 5.0 design features are discussed on this thread by DV.
Extrude Hone -Slick Speed - Guaranteed!

This 5.0 intake is single plane.
The Ford pickup 5.0 intake is dual plane. The one that has the dual throttle bodies.
Is there, or would there be an advantage to the dual plane FI intake for power production?
Wouldn't the dual plane allow a more agressive cam with a tighter LSA?

I think the dual plane will be a better intake for bottom end and mid range even it is only flowing air in your application. It has always proven so to my knowledge.
