Exhaust Termination Box/ Flowmaster Muffler
Would the first chamber of a Flowmaster muffler act like an exhaust termination box if placed at the end of a header collecter extension. Total collector length of @ 20 inches.
What if the collecter extension is 3 inch, would a 2 1/2 inch muffler that flows sufficiently be Ok attached directly to it? Think I got my answer. I think I'm going to have to use a simple flair like on a funnel for the intake and exit pipes on my termination boxes. Having trouble locating anything for a 2 3/4" pipe or 70mm. I didn't see anything on Professor Blairs site regarding a simple flair. In the meantime I will keep looking.
