Late model 350 narrow beam rods?

Was wondering if you guys may be able to give me a little insight on the late model 350 narrow beam rods. I was thinking of using them for a 383 that will put out about 425 HP. What would you guys recommend for a HP to stay under to safely use these rods. Any help would be appriciated!

Thanks

If you are refering to Manley rods I would say no. They are just a stock 350 rod out of the later model engines. They weigh the same as the wide beam rods they just have a narrower beam. The big end of the rods also weigh the same. If anyone has any info on this or can post a link that would be great! Thanks for the help!

Horse power is not the biggest enemy of rods, it is usually rpm, the factory rods may be good for 350hp or so with moderate rpm, if they are powdered metal rods, these are probably good for 450hp .

With the cost of Scat and other aftermarket rods, it is far safer to upgrade and be sure you have a good part.

Thank you for your reply and the link you provided. What is the perception here on the stock powdered metal 350 rods. I have herd they are able to withstand up to 450 hp. Any thoughts or comments on this. Thanks again for the replys

I thought you meant late model as in bult motor for a late model stock car. Those powdered rods are quite good we used them in a 350 a while back that made 470hp and 435ish on torque. I think we set them up as a floating pin. I don't remember if we replaced the studs and nuts with arp stuff but you could.
