Big Kahuna AMA Superbike Nationals Sign Foremost Insurance

DANVILLE, Va. (June 20, 2008) – Promoters of Virginia International Raceway's Aug. 15-17 Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals, featuring the AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited, have signed with Foremost Insurance as the Official Insurance of the Big Kahuna.

“The Suzuki Big Kahuna event has grown to be one of the biggest races in the AMA Superbike Championship Series, and we are excited about sponsoring such a popular event at one of the top tracks in America,” Randy Slotten, Foremost Insurance's marketing director, said. “At Foremost, we understand that many motorcycle enthusiasts enjoy motorcycle racing and that is why we support exceptional events like the Suzuki Big Kahuna, and teams like LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati Team and the Foremost Insurance Suzuki Team.”

Event promoter Cameron Gray said he was “really excited” about the new partnership.

Foremost is also the title sponsor of Larry Pegram’s Ducati race team.

The Big Kahuna offers fans more than mere on-track thrills. An exhibit of vintage race motorcycles is planned, with the history-making machines taking parade laps on the track. Some riders of the historic race bikes plan to attend. There also will be live music, displays, and vendors for those attending the event.
