Acceptable posting

The last time I posted something, it came up with a message saying that a Moderator would approve the reply before its added to the topic. That's OK; it stops people adding stupid or irrelevant things, and GFN keeps a smart and professional format.

But where is the line drawn?

This is advertised as a Message Board rather than a Forum. I'm not being contentious, its just the former is normally considered informal, and the latter more formal. Is some banter allowed if relevant, or is the comment just going to be 'discarded'? Sometimes it helps to move conversation onwards.

I expect you've drawn up some guidelines between the Admin/Moderators. Can you share your thoughts with us to help us understand what its likely to be acceptable or unacceptable?

Thank you
