I had a patient come in the other day (I'm a dentist) whose last name was Vizard. That not being a common name, I asked the young lady if she had any relatives named David. She said, yes. Coincidence, I figured. I then asked if he was a car guy who wrote about engines, as I own a 72 Nova and just happen to admire and collect his writings. She said yes. I was amazed at the coincidence and figured he was a distant cousin of hers or some such. She then said, he's my dad. I was stunned, but pleased to meet her. Danielle is a nice young lady who is obviously very proud of her father.
She referred me to this website. Seems to be a cool one. I'm just an old shadetree tinkerer, but really like the books and articles by David that I have read. They're well-grounded and informative.
